American Capital Financial Group LLC (“AMCFG,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) provides an optional non-marketing text messaging program to people who request mortgage information or services from us and affirmatively consent to receive text messages.
Messages may include responses to mortgage inquiries, requested mortgage information, appointment scheduling and reminders, and mortgage application, document, or status updates. This messaging program is intended for informational and customer-care communications. It is not used for promotional offers or rate advertisements.
Consent
You may opt in by manually selecting the optional SMS consent checkbox on an AMCFG form. The checkbox is unchecked by default and is not required to submit the form or obtain mortgage services.
By opting in, you authorize American Capital Financial Group LLC to send non-marketing text messages to the telephone number you provided. You represent that you are the subscriber or customary user of that number.
Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchasing or receiving any product or service.
Message frequency and charges
Message frequency varies according to your inquiry and application status. You may receive up to five messages per month during inquiry follow-up, with additional messages as reasonably necessary during an active mortgage application.
Message and data rates may apply. Contact your wireless carrier for information about your messaging or data plan.
Opting out
You may cancel SMS messages at any time by replying STOP to any AMCFG text message. We may send one final confirmation message acknowledging your opt-out. After that confirmation, you will no longer receive messages through this SMS program unless you affirmatively opt in again.
